Uttarakhand, the home of the Garhwal & Kumaon mountain ranges which is almost the untouched part of Himalayas.

 

Bordered by Tibet in the north, Nepal in the east, Himachal Pradesh in the west and the Gangetic plains in the south, Uttarakhand is a jewel on the crown of Indian Territory. Being the originating point of significant Indian rivers of India, Uttarakhand is the abode to five out of top ten Himalayan Mountain peaks of India. To name them, they are: Nanda Devi (No.2), Kamet (No. 3), Hardeol (No. 8), Chaukhamba (No. 9) & Trishul (No. 10).

Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Dehradun & Transfer to Hotel in Rishikesh, Shivpuri
Flight tickets to be booked for early morning.
Airport To Rishikesh - Pick-up & drop Tempo Traveller/SUV Cars.
Rafting at Rishikesh for 2-3 hours

Day 2: The Escapade Day - Switzerland of Himalayas – KAUSANI
270 Kms/ 9 hrs – Rishikesh (Shivpuri) to Kausani
This is going to be an escapade from hustle bustle of town-life into the arms of nature of
Kumaon Himalayas. Music night will be done before bonfire!

Day 3: The Trek & Culture Day - RUDRADHARI FALLS & CHHOLIYA
Distance - 9 Kms; Trek Distance – 2 Kms
Kausani To Rudradhari Falls Trek; Activity: Cook your own food – Lunch in the jungle
followed by Chholiya Dance & Music in the Kausani property.
This is going to be a trek day to Rudradhari falls away from the main town. We will be doing
our own cook-out in the jungles and will get back to property by evening where Chholiya
dancers will be amusing us with their dance & music, a specialty of Kumaon Himalayas

Day 4: Ride to Biker's Paradise - MUNSYARI
164 Kms/7 hrs - Kausani To Munsyari
This day we will be riding one of the most scenic routes of this tour to Munsyari. Often referred to as "Little Kashmir", Munsiyari is a cosy hamlet known for its panorama of snow-capped peaks and  stunning backdrop of Panchachuli (the five peaks), Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot. Perched between the borders of India, Tibet and Nepal, Munsiyari is a base for three glaciers namely Namik, Milam and Ralam Glaciers and it is operated as the base camp for the Nanda Devi treks. Also dubbed 'Gateway to Johar Valley', Munsiyari is the starting point of Johar Valley which was the ancient trade route between Tibet and India.

Day 5: Ride to Hippie Hills of Beatles – KASAR DEVI & ALMORA
200 kms/ 8 hrs - Munsyari To Almora

Almora is a small town famous for its alluring beauty, panoramic view of the Himalayas, rich cultural heritage, unique handicrafts, and delicious cuisines. Also, it is home to one of the oldest prisons in India built in 1872 where many revolutionaries were imprisoned during India's freedom struggle including Jawaharlal Nehru.

Kasar Devi near Almora town is known for its spirituality and mysticism. A beautiful place famous for the Kasar Devi temple has somehow attracted many celebtries such as writer D.H.Lawrence; musicians like Bob Dylan, Beatles guitarist George Harrison, singer Cat Stevens and also a team of scientist from NASA to study the rare influence of Von Allen Belt. The only areas apart from Kasar Devi experiencing this magnetic energy are Machu Picchu in Peru, South America and Stone Henge in England.

Day 6: Ride to MUKTESHWAR

55 kms/ 2 hrs - Almora To Mukteshwar

If you are an adventure person who loves Paragliding, Rock climbing or Rappelling then Mukteshwar is one of the best places to do these. This place offers 180 degree view of the Himalayan Mountain ranges and many rock climbers visit this place to climb the famous overhanging cliff Chauli-ki-Jali.

Day 7: Ride to The Leopard Trails - JIM CORBETT
120 kms/4 hrs - Mukteshwar to Jim Corbett (Ramnagar)

Day 8: Bidding Adieu to KUMAON
190 kms/6 hrs - Jim Corbett (Ramnagar) To Rishikesh

Our ride comes to an end on this day. Return the bikes at Rishikesh.

DAY 9: Fly back from Dehradun
Jolly grant Airport Drop in Tempo traveler/SUVs
