Arrive at hotel in Leh Pickup from Leh Airport. Meet the team followed by briefing by the Tour Leader. Get acclimatized during the day. In the evening we'll visit Shanti Stupa to watch the sunset. Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh. Day 2. Leh - Local Sightseeing (100 Kms) After breakfast, we start the ride on the Leh-Srinagar highway. The River confluence (Sangam), Hall of Fame, Magnetic hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Thiksey/Likir Monastery, Leh Palace, Leh market etc are some of the places interest which we will be exploring this day. Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh. Day 3. Leh - Hunder (130 Kms) Our first stop will be at the gateway to Nubra and Shyok valleys - Khardung La (18,380 ft), one of the world's highest motorable road. From here we descend into Nubra valley and head to Diskit monastery. The view of the tall Chamba (Buddha) statue overlooking the Nubra valley is beautiful beyond words. Last stop for the day will be the sand dunes of Hundar. Take a ride on the Bactrian (Double humped) camel and watch the sun set over the mountain ranges. Overnight stay at Guest house / Camp in Hundar. Day 4. Hunder - Turtuk - Thang - Hunder (200 Kms) After breakfast, we ride along the Shyok river to Turtuk and then to Thang which is the border village along the Indo-Pakistan border. Soak in the beauty of the lush green fields lined with apricot trees with the Karakorum range in the backdrop. Explore Turtuk or Tyakshi village of the Baltistan region and taste the local food of the Balti people who look completely different from rest of the Ladakhis. Post lunch, we stop at the Siachen warriors memorial and then back to Hunder. Overnight stay at the Guest house / Camp in Hunder. Day 5. Hunder - Pangong Tso (175 Kms) Today will be an early start as we continue the ride along the Shyok river to the breath-taking Pangong Tso. Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m (13,862 ft). This pristine mosaic of myriad shades of blue, is said to be one of the highest brackish water lakes in the world. You have the evening free to go crazy with photoshoots. Overnight stay in Guest house / Swiss tents in Pangong. Day 6. Pangong Tso - Hanle (200 Kms) Get ready for some hardcore adventure as we ride to remote village of Hanle along Man, Merak & Chusul. This will be one of the most deserted roads most people would have ridden/driven in their life. Our destination for the day is one of the historic villages of Ladakh, Hanle. Home to the 17th century Hanle monastery and world's 3rd highest optical telescope, Hanle is a must-visit place for anyone visiting Ladakh. The night sky seen here is the most beautiful and magical with millions of stars visible to the naked eye. Overnight say at Hotel / Guest house in Hanle. Day 7. Hanle - Umling La - Hanle (180 Kms) Today will be adrenaline pumping day as ride to the world's highest Motorable road - Umling la (19,024 ft) thru some of the most deserted plains of Ladakh. We'll be able to spot few Himalayan Wild Ass - an endangered species, native to the high altitude plains of Himalayas. Spend few minutes at the World's Highest cafe and take a lot of pics to celebrate your achievement and also to make your friends jealous. Then we proceed to a kick-ass spot to watch the sunset over the Hanle River Overnight stay in Hotel / Guest house in Hanle. Day 8. Hanle - Tso Moriri (300 / 150 Kms) Today will be one more day of adventure riding. From Hanle, we ride to Tso Moriri aka the Mountain Lake in the Changthang plateau. The lake and surrounding area are protected as the Tso Moriri Wetland Conservation Reserve. The lake is at an altitude of 4,522 m (14,836 ft). It is the largest of the high altitude lakes entirely within India and entirely within Ladakh in this Trans-Himalayan biogeographic region. This 26 km long lake and the laid back village of Karzok are way less crowded than Pangong and is a very peaceful place to watch the sunrise or sunset. Overnight stay in Hotel / camp in Karzok. Day 9. Tso Moriri - Tso Kar - Leh (250 Kms) Rise early and watch the sun rise over the lake from your hotel room or swiss tent. After breakfast, we head towards the third lake which is part of the Ladakh lake circuit, Tso Kar. From here, we head back to Leh and the trip comes to an end. Its time to bid farewell to the mountains and fly back home. One of the ethnic minorities, the Tay people have settled in and around the Ba Be lake. Here, we get to stay with the local people and experience their culture. Ba Be lake – Ban Gioc (210 Kms) After breakfast, we'll start riding to the Northwest region of Vietnam which is bordered by China. The route will take you thru some of the remotest village roads with beautiful scenery to reach the largest waterfalls of Vietnam - Ban Gioc waterfalls. Get ready to get wet from the water splashing from the waterfalls when we take a bamboo raft ride close to the falls. Overnight stay at Hotel in Ban Gioc. Ban Gioc – Meo Vac (265 Kms) The real scenery of the tour starts from this day when we leave behind the plains and start climbing the mountains. From here on, we start seeing the steep Krast mountains for which Ha Giang is famous for. Meo Vac – Ha Giang (210 Kms) After breakfast, get ready to tackle the twisty mountain roads of the Ha Giang with breathtaking scenery at a height above 1200 m. We ride to some of the highest and famous spots in the northern part of Vietnam before reaching the beautiful region of Sapa. Sa pa - Mu Cang Chai (160 Kms) After breakfast, we ride to the highest pass in Vietnam - Tram Ton pass for a quick photo session. From there, we head to Mu Cang Chai which is also famous for the terraced rice fields. Rice terraces coil in ribbons around the hills to spectacular effect, luring photographers, hikers, and avid motorcyclists. This place is populated with the black Hmong people, a subgroup of largest ethnic tribe of Vietnam. Unlike many other minority groups in Vietnam, the Hmong don’t live in raised houses on wooden stilts. Instead, they build their homes on flattened earth. Mu Cang Chai - Hanoi (300 Kms) After an early breakfast, we start our ride to Hanoi. We'll soon be back in the plains and heading towards the buzzling city life of the capital city. With this, the ride comes to an end. Return the bikes and you are free to explore the city and nightlife of Hanoi. Hanoi is a very old historical city dotted with numerous cafes, pubs and many sightseeing spots. Overnight stay at Hotel in Hanoi. Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (Optional) After early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and a private taxi/van will drop you back at the Hanoi International Airport. From here, you ride along the Sutlej River till we cross over the Khab Sangam bridge, following which the road follows the Spiti River to Nako. It is situated at a height of 13,668 feet and was founded by a disciple of the famous Atisha, in the 11th century CE. Then ride to Langza and to the highest village in Asia, Komik, which literally translates to ‘Eye of a snow cock’, which is situated at a height of 4513 metres. Later, ride to Hikkim and visit the world’s highest post office in the world and send a postcard to your friends and family anywhere in the world. If lucky, you can even meet the postmaster and hear his stories. In the evening, visit the Kaza market. Hunder - Siachen Base Camp - Sumur (215 Kms) Today’s ride is nothing short of legendary as we journey from Hundar to the iconic Siachen Base Camp, the highest battlefield in the world. Traverse stark desert landscapes and dramatic mountain roads, feeling the thrill of reaching a place few civilians ever do. Soak in the patriotic spirit and raw beauty of this high-altitude frontier before descending to the peaceful village of Sumur in the Nubra Valley. Sumur - Pangong Tso (185 Kms) Today will be an early start as we continue the ride along the Shyok river to the breath-taking Pangong Tso. Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m (13,862 ft). This pristine mosaic of myriad shades of blue, is said to be one of the highest brackish water lakes in the world. You have the evening free to go crazy with photoshoots. Overnight stay in Home stay / Swiss tents in Man / Merak village. Arrive at Chandigarh Arrive at the pre-booked hotel in Chandigarh. Tour briefing will be in the evening where you meet the tour leader and fellow participants of the tour. Chandigarh – Manali (275 Kms ) After an early breakfast, kick off your Himalayan adventure with a thrilling ride from Chandigarh to Manali, where the plains give way to the foothills of the mighty Himalayas. Cruise through scenic mountain roads, pine forests, and winding riverside stretches as you ascend into the heart of Himachal. With every twist of the throttle, the air gets cooler, the views grander, and the excitement builds—setting the perfect tone for the epic journey ahead. Overnight stay at Hotel in Manali. Pangong Tso - Hanle (200 Kms) Get ready for some hardcore adventure as we ride to remote village of Hanle along Man, Merak & Chusul. This will be one of the most deserted roads most people would have ridden/driven in their life. Our destination for the day is one of the historic villages of Ladakh, Hanle. Home to the 17th century Hanle monastery and world's 3rd highest optical telescope, Hanle is a must-visit place for anyone visiting Ladakh. The night sky seen here is the most beautiful and magical with millions of stars visible to the naked eye. Overnight say at Hotel / Guest house in Hanle. Hanle - Umling La - Hanle (180 Kms) Today will be adrenaline pumping day as ride to the world's highest Motorable road - Umling la (19,024 ft) thru some of the most deserted plains of Ladakh. We'll be able to spot few Himalayan Wild Ass - an endangered species, native to the high altitude plains of Himalayas. Spend few minutes at the World's Highest cafe and take a lot of pics to celebrate your achievement and also to make your friends jealous. Then we proceed to a kick-ass spot to watch the sunset over the Hanle River Overnight stay in Hotel / Guest house in Hanle. Hanle - Tso Moriri (160 Kms) Today will be one more day of adventure riding. From Hanle, we ride to Tso Moriri aka the Mountain Lake in the Changthang plateau. The lake and surrounding area are protected as the Tso Moriri Wetland Conservation Reserve. The lake is at an altitude of 4,522 m (14,836 ft). It is the largest of the high altitude lakes entirely within India and entirely within Ladakh in this Trans-Himalayan biogeographic region. This 26 km long lake and the laid back village of Karzok are way less crowded than Pangong and is a very peaceful place to watch the sunrise or sunset. Overnight stay in Hotel / camp in Karzok. Karzok - Tso Kar - Sarchu (210 Kms) Rise early and watch the sun rise over the lake from your hotel room or swiss tent. After breakfast, we head towards the third lake which is part of the Ladakh lake circuit, Tso Kar . The Tso Kar Basin is a high-altitude wetland complex, consisting of two principal waterbodies: Startsapuk Tso, a freshwater lake and Tso Kar itself, a hypersaline, situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. If we are lucky, we will be able to spot few some endangered birds. From here, we head to Sarchu riding thru More plains, Lachung la, Naki la and the famous Gata Loops. Overnight stay at the Camp in Sarchu. Sarchu - Manali (180 Kms) Witness the effects of altitude and rainfall on the vegetation while we ride from Sarchu to Manali. From dry cold deserts, the terrain changes to beautiful greenery while we reach the Solang valley. One of the highlights of this day's ride is the newly opened 9 Kms long Atal tunnel. An engineering marvel, this tunnel is above 10,000ft in altitude and is certified as the world's highest highway tunnel. This day, we get back into civilization when we reach Manali. Vashist temple, Jogni waterfalls, Manu temple and Mall road are some of the places to visit in Manali. Overnight stay at Hotel in Manali. Manali - Chandigarh ( 275 Kms ) Being the last leg of the journey, we start descending to the plains when we leave Manali and head towards Chandigarh. At Chandigarh, we bid adieu to the mountains while ending the tour with a lot of beautiful stories from this adventure tour. Leh - Rest day Today will a rest day to get acclimatized to high altitude.
